Chiropractor for Clontarf

ReFigure Chiropractic Health Centre is a warm, five-practitioner clinic in Mosman — and for Clontarf, we're about as close as a chiropractor gets on the far side of the Spit Bridge. Just a short hop over the bridge and up Spit Road, we offer evidence-informed, individualised chiropractic care that aims to ease back pain, neck pain, stiffness and the everyday niggles of a busy, beachside life.

Where is ReFigure, and how far is it from Clontarf?

ReFigure is at 18A Spit Road, Mosman (enter via Brady Street), and Clontarf is one of our closest Northern Beaches neighbours. From Clontarf Beach and Clontarf Reserve it's a quick run down to The Spit, across the Spit Bridge, then up Spit Road into Mosman — most people make it in 5–10 minutes. Because Clontarf sits right at the northern foot of the bridge, you're barely a hop from the water before you're at our door.

We'll be honest about the one variable: the Spit Bridge is an opening (bascule) bridge that lifts for tall boats several times a day, so an opening can briefly hold traffic. A quick check of the bridge opening times before you set off usually means a smooth trip. There's street parking around Spit Road and Brady Street, and buses that cross the Spit Bridge along Spit Road — such as the 144 — stop close by, so it's an easy visit whether you drive or catch the bus.

Why do Clontarf locals choose ReFigure?

Clontarf is one of those quiet, family-loved pockets of the Northern Beaches — a calm harbour beach, the sailing club, the netted swimming enclosure and the shady reserve where kids, dogs and paddlers spend the weekend. It draws families, water lovers and outdoor types: people who swim and stand-up paddle off Clontarf Beach, walk the Manly Scenic pathway toward Grotto Point, or launch a kayak from Sandy Bay. That active, on-the-water lifestyle brings its own strains — a paddler's shoulders, a sailor's lower back, a parent forever lifting little ones in and out of the shallows.

Our team takes the time to understand your history, your current health and your goals before tailoring care to you — we don't do one-size-fits-all. With 15+ years behind the clinic, we aim to uncover the underlying cause of your discomfort rather than just chase the symptom, using a range of gentle, modern techniques.

What can we help with?

We focus on musculoskeletal concerns and the everyday complaints that get in the way of a comfortable, capable life. Care is always individualised, and outcomes vary from person to person, but Clontarf locals commonly come to us for support with:

  • Back pain and general spinal stiffness
  • Neck pain and "tech neck" from desk and screen work
  • Sciatica and related leg discomfort
  • Headaches linked to neck and posture
  • Posture support for office, commuting and parenting life
  • Sports niggles from swimming, paddling, sailing and running

What techniques do you use?

Our signature approach is Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC) — a full-body manual protocol that looks at your posture and biomechanics as a whole, rather than treating one spot in isolation. Alongside ABC, our practitioners draw on diversified adjusting, Thompson drop-table technique, activator and other low-force options, dry needling and soft-tissue work. If you'd prefer a gentler approach, low-force techniques are available — your chiropractor talks you through everything and works to your comfort.

Who will I see?

ReFigure is led by Dr Andrew Callister (Principal), who holds a Psychology degree and a Master of Chiropractic, and who previously worked as a trainer advising Olympic athletes and supporting World-Championship ski and snowboard athletes. He's joined by Dr Mathew Cullen (19+ years in strength, conditioning and rehabilitation, working with ABC, rehab and soft-tissue care) and Dr Natalie Hope (a former NSW volleyball representative, offering ABC, dry needling, IASTM, cupping and TMJ care). Our wellness side includes Laura Gutierrez (Emotional Fitness Coach & Breathwork Facilitator) and John Coady (Counsellor & Psychotherapist). Meet the full team here.

Sport, pregnancy and family care

Plenty of our Clontarf patients lead active, water-based lives — swimming the harbour, paddling off the beach or keeping up with energetic kids. Our sports-focused care uses gentle techniques tailored to you, supporting movement, helping manage physical strain and aiming to reduce the risk of future niggles. It's the same care philosophy Andrew has brought to elite athletes, now applied to your everyday performance, posture and comfort. Expecting, or caring for little ones? We offer gentle, comfort-focused support through pregnancy and for families too — see our services for more.

Every person is different, so outcomes vary — your care is always assessed and planned around you. If chiropractic isn't the right fit for what you're experiencing, we'll say so and help point you in the right direction.
