Chiropractor for the Lower North Shore

ReFigure Chiropractic Health Centre is a five-practitioner clinic at Spit Junction in Mosman. We see patients from right across Sydney's Lower North Shore, and this page covers what care actually involves here, who you'll see, and the practical detail, parking, buses, hours, that makes a first visit easy.

What chiropractic care involves at ReFigure

Every new patient starts the same way: a proper assessment. We take a history, look at how you move, and explain what we find in plain English before anyone puts a hand on you. If we think chiropractic care is a reasonable fit for what's going on, we'll say so and explain why. If we don't, we'll tell you that too and point you toward someone better placed to help.

Chiropractic care is a musculoskeletal approach. It's commonly sought for back pain and stiffness, neck tension and "tech neck", headaches where neck tension may be a contributing factor, posture concerns, and the strains that come with an active life. Care is individualised, outcomes vary from person to person, and we won't recommend care you don't need.

If you've never seen a chiropractor, what happens at a first appointment walks through the visit step by step, and what a chiropractor does covers the basics without the jargon.

The techniques we use

Our signature approach is Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC), a full-body manual protocol focused on posture and biomechanics. Alongside ABC, our practitioners draw on diversified adjusting, Thompson drop, activator and other low-force methods, dry needling and soft-tissue work.

Which techniques we use depends on you, your body, your comfort and your goals. Some people prefer firmer hands-on adjusting; others do better with gentle, low-force care. Your chiropractor explains what they're doing and works to your comfort, and you can ask them to stop or change approach at any point.

Who you'll see

ReFigure is a five-practitioner team led by Dr Andrew Callister, our Principal Chiropractor, who holds a Psychology degree and a Master of Chiropractic and has previously supported elite ski, snowboard and Olympic-level athletes. You may also see Dr Mathew Cullen, a chiropractor with more than 19 years in strength, conditioning and rehabilitation, working with ABC, rehab and soft-tissue care; or Dr Natalie Hope, a former NSW volleyball representative who offers ABC, dry needling, IASTM, cupping and TMJ care.

Our wider team also includes a wellness coach and a counsellor, so support extends beyond the adjusting table when that's helpful. Because we're a genuine local practice rather than a big-chain franchise, you'll generally see the same familiar face each visit. You can meet the full team here.

Fees, rebates and booking

No referral is needed to see a chiropractor. You can book online any time, or call (02) 8937 2740 during clinic hours. We have HICAPS on site, so if you have extras cover your health fund rebate is processed at the time of your visit and you pay the gap.

Our guide to chiropractic costs, Medicare and health-fund rebates sets out what to expect and what to check before you book. You can also see our full list of services or get in touch if you'd like to ask something first.
